Mikael Weermets is a Swedish hard working producer/DJ from Gothenburg-Sweden, living out his childhood-dream to become a big superstar DJand producer. The interest of making & creating electronic dancemusic has always been there, and has always been the main thing in his life.Spinning records started at an early age at numerous youth-events, before he started out in the Gothenburg clubscene at 2004, and hassince then, been out giging at least 10 times a month.Today, Mikael Weermets is one of the most well-known figures in the Swedish clubscene, playing various styles of electronic music, fromdeep & soulfulhouse to experimental jackin beats with influences from the old detroit-techno sound.In 2007 he grabbed the award for best Swedish DJ in the Megamind.se competition for Nordics Most Popular DJ. He also reached the finals inthe SMC (Scandinavian Music Convention) in 2007, competing against world stars like Eric Prydz, Axwell & Stonebridge.In 2007 he was also working for one of the biggest Radio-networks in Scandinavia, The Voice, working as a tour-DJ. Mikael moved on, and at the beginning of 2008 he signed on for the massive radiochannel ENERGY (NRJ), working as a resident-DJ for the "NRJ @ The Club"nightclub-tour, playing with some of the worlds most famous housemusic-producers.In the beginning of 2008 he was set to represent HED KANDI at the Sweden tour, playing with resident artists from HED KANDIs label. Asthe year went on, Mikael finally signed for Ministry Of Sound, being a resident-DJ for the MOS DJ-tour.In 2009, Mikael was voted to be one of the 5 most upoming producers in the world bye Cuepoint TV, as he set his mark in the music business,releasing music on various label giants such as JOIA, Wormland, Kontor Records, Spinnin Records, Le Mans Recordings & more.2010 is predicted to be Mikaels year to really smash into the big league, with upcoming releases on some of the biggest labels outthere, teaming up with world star D.O.N.S, starting out with 3 duo-singles, featuring vocals by Gloria Gaynor, Andy P & housesuperstar diva Terri B!.With over a dussin remixes in his bag, the cue for Mikaels services is getting bigger everyday!
